In the Word

Feb 22nd
Psalm 22 (selected verses)
But You are holy,
Who inhabit the praises of Israel.
Our fatehr trusted in You and You delivered them.
They cried to You and were delivered;
They trusted in You and were not ashamed
You have been my God.
Be not far from me...
You have answered me.
I will declare your name
I will praise You
You who fear the Lord, praise Him!
Glorify Him & fear Him!

~~The Lord is the maker of them all (both the poor & the rich)

Psalm 16:1-11 (selected verses)
...for in You, I put my trust
...my goodness is nothing apart from You
...I have a good inheritance
I will bless the Lord who has given me councel;
my heart also instructs me in the right seasons.

Because He is at my right hand
I shall not be moved
My heart is glad and my glory rejoices;
My flesh will also rest in hope
You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Proverbs 13 (a few verses that i needed to hear at that time)

He who guards his mouth preserves his life,
but he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.

A righteous man hates lying,
but a wicked man is loathesome & comes to shame.

By pride comes only contention,
but with the well-advised is wisdom.

He who despises the word will be destroyed,
but he who fears the commandment will be rewarded

Good understanding gains favor,
but the way of the unfaithful is hard.

Every prudent man acts with knowledge,
but a fool lays open his folly.

Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction,
but he who regards reproof will be honored.

And lift up your voice for understanding,

and search for her as for hidden treasures;
